PHASE FOUR

Construction of Pipeline

To construct a 30km water pipeline from the Volta Lake  up all the way through the land to the District Capital of Tease, as shown in the diagram below

Benefits/Prospects

This pipeline construction by IFCMG  Team will make it possible to provide and sell irrigated water to farmlands (estimated at 90,000 hectares) all-year long to the faring communities of the district through pipelines from the Volta Lake.

PHASE FIVE

Potential Tourism Resort Development

The Afram Plains South district is endowed with natural tourist attractions which can be marketed across the globe to tourists for their vacations. The huge Afram Plains River can offer water sports of any kind, the Kwahu Mountain overlooking the district can also offer mountain-climbing for lovers of the sport, a zip line can be developed from the mountain to the ground, and cable cars can be developed. There is a forest game reserve in the district; a safari drive can also be developed. There is land for golf course development among others.

International Resort and Conference Center

There is the potential to turn the lakeside into an international conference and resort center (as shown in picture).
